Join the Holiday Hope Gift Campaign!
You can make a difference in the lives of children and families across Western New York!
Give the gift of hope and happiness this holiday season!
The holiday season is approaching and New Directions Youth and Family Services has partnered with Gateway Longview to combine our annual holiday gift campaigns (formerly known as Save a Christmas and Adopt-an-Angel) to expand our initiative bringing joy and holiday gifts to over 500 children and families across Western New York through the Holiday Hope Gift Campaign.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, organizations, and individuals, hundreds or children experience the joy of opening presents during the holidays each year.
This year, we hope to provide gifts for approximately 600 children receiving services from New Directions.
Your Gift Supports the Mission You Choose
While Holiday Hope is a joint initiative, rest assured your contribution will directly benefit the mission you choose. Donations made on and wish lists selected from this website will benefit families with New Directions Youth and Family Services.

Would otherwise go without gifts this holiday season
-
No, to honor confidentiality, the families are given fun, holiday-themed code names (e.g., The Peppermint Family, The Tinsel Family, The Snowflake Family).
We do, however, receive many heartfelt thank-you cards and letters, which we share with donors whenever possible.
Children and families provide wish lists that include a child's:
-
Favorite toys, hobbies, and colors
-
Clothing sizes
-
Special interests
Wish lists are grouped by family size and region (Niagara, Erie, and Southern Tier Counties).
-
Donors decide the amount they are comfortable spending. We encourage balancing gifts across sibling groups, so every child will receive gifts of similar value.
(Please note: we cannot accept gently used gifts.)
Please do not wrap gifts. This allows parents/caregivers the joy of wrapping and knowing what their children receive.
-
Optional: You may include wrapping paper, bows and tape.
-
Once shopping is complete, gifts can be delivered to one of four designated locations:
-
Lockport
-
Niagara Falls
-
Amherst
-
Randolph
Drop-off details will be provided with your assigned family. Please include the holiday code name when dropping off gifts.
