The Erie County Department of Mental Health and New Directions' Family Peer Support Services Department are teaming up to host a FREE event to celebrate the progress and accomplishments of local families who have, are, or will navigate the Erie County Mental Health System of Care!
If you have, are, or are planning to navigate the Erie County Mental Health System of Care, please RSVP to attend. (Unfortunately, there are no more seats available for this event.)
All attending families will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a FREE family trip to the Buffalo Zoo!
There will be other baskets that families will be able to win in a FREE raffle, a FREE buffet with gluten-free options, FREE child-friendly activities, FREE massage chairs and other activities for adults, tables offering FREE information about community resources for families, AND guest speaker Melanie Funchess!

Meet Our Guest Speaker, Melanie Funchess
Melanie, CEO and Principal at Ubuntu Village Works LLC., has over two decades of experience as an advocate for families and children. She is the founder of The Healer’s Village and has worked extensively in family engagement and empowerment.
